Well it’s national gluten-free day today, so I thought I would round up the 20 best gluten-free recipes on my site right now.
I have SO many more gluten-free recipes, so today is also a reminder for me to include some of them in upcoming posts.
Gluten is one of those crazy things that you don’t really need to have in a lot of things, but it is sneakily in almost everything. Especially store bought sauces and stuff like that. I’m not celiac or gluten-intolerant in any way, so I’ve never really been conscious of what products contain gluten. When I started to expand my recipes to be more inclusive of some of the common dietary restrictions I was so surprised to find gluten everywhere. I will say that even in the last few years, many companies have made steps to remove gluten from a number of products – so that’s progress.
Don’t get me wrong, I myself LOVE gluten; but I fully understand that there is real gluten intolerance that can cause everything from minor discomfort to serious pain and allergic reactions. So for those of you that are gluten-free, I hope you find a few recipes in here that help make your life a little easier and your food more enjoyable.
